All aspects of longing seem so much more innocent in our youth. As adults, the rationalization of intercourse is made unrealistic and foolhardy by sexually transmitted diseases. A green and white Speedo and California sun-streaked hair, once the epitome of desire, melds with the lesson of age and emerges as a dreamscape phantasm.
